Lesson 9 – FROM A GARDEN TO A WEDDING FEAST …In a Temple Garden

Where to start reading your bible:
Read Genesis chapters 1-2
Read the entire Gospel of John
Read Revelation chapters 19-21

Putting it all together, thegospelcoalition.org/article/wedding-waiting-for/

"You have forgotten who you are, and so have forgotten me. Look inside yourself, Simba. You are more than what you have become... Remember who you are. You are my son and the one true king." ~Mufasa from The Lion King

(Do a search for “remember who you are quotes”.  Text me your favorite one as plain text or a graphic.  You will definitely make my day!)

In this room right now, I can 100% guarantee that there are people who are childhood trauma survivors, a little bit lazy, a little bit selfish, a little bit entitled, feeling underappreciated and put-upon, and who justify their bad attitude and bad behavior when they are tired and hungry, frustrated, or had a bad day.  I can 100% guarantee this, because I am this person. Most all of this, most every day.

Sometimes in this space there have been people who are deliberate, vindictive, calculating, scheming, malevolent manipulators and gaslighters, alcoholics, addicts, gamblers, people who hurt their children or their pets to hurt their spouses, and then also the beaters, cheaters, rapists and pedophiles.

I want you to know that whatever is going on with you and in your relationship, there is HOPE and there is HELP.  There are neighbors who sincerely want to love you and help you and be with you on your journey.  YOU NEVER HAVE TO FEEL LIKE YOU ARE ALONE.

My message to you is that God loves YOU so much that He sent his only begotten Son to bring YOU hope and to die on the cross as a ransom, so that YOU can sit at the most high table and feast with God and enjoy Him forever.
